Simply put, Mandla and El Transito blew me away. Katie and Damian have hand-built an absolute gem of a hotel in what is already a heavenly corner of the world. Your morning view of empty waves and spotless beaches is framed with palm held hammocks. Damian's enthusiasm for surf exploration and fishing guarantees daily adventures and Katie's culinary skills, honed from years in the Super Yacht industry- mean you'll eat meals deserving of the appetite you will no doubt work up.
The Mandla pool and yoga deck perfectly face the setting sun and few places on earth are better for a cold beer. I rarely return to the same place twice, but in this case I will definitely be back!

When your travelling as a couple it's nice to know that while your surfing, your other half is being kept entertained whilst your in the water. Whether she was out horse riding, doing yoga or sipping Piña Coladas in the beachside pool, I was able to surf long lefts, punchy A-Frames, and also got to take a boat round to a nearby reef break.
El Transito is a hidden gem, and the crew at Mandla have really honed in what makes a holiday special. What a team, what a place, we will be back soon!
